Welcome!
We are the chemical ecology and evolution group at the Department of Systematic and Evolutionary Botany of the University of Zürich.
We study the role of diversity and novelty in chemical plant defense for co-evolutionary interactions between plants and insect herbivores. In our group we focus on both sides of these interactions, as we are trying to understand both how plant chemical diversity shapes and affects herbivore communities, and how in turn herbivores respond to plant chemical defense and shape plant communities. Please feel free to contact us for more information!
